1. What we collect

2. Why we collect it

To match you with other members, to prove people are who they say they are, to take and refund payments, to keep a record of what was agreed, to notify you when something happens, and to investigate reports when a ride goes wrong.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

3. Consent

Nothing sensitive is taken quietly. You tick the box yourself at signup — never pre-ticked — and Aadhaar takes a separate, explicit consent that you can withdraw. Withdrawing consent may mean a feature that depended on it stops working, and we will say which.

4. What other members can see

Members see your name, your rating, your city if you have set one, and the details of the ryd itself. Your phone number is not visible by default — it is revealed only once a match is confirmed, and only to the person on the other side of it. Your documents are never shown to another member.

5. Who else we share it with

6. How it is stored

Documents live in private storage, never on a public URL: an image is reachable only through a short-lived signed link generated for you at the moment you open it. Passwords are stored hashed. Traffic is encrypted in transit.

7. How long we keep it

Account data stays while your account is open. Ride and payment records are kept after that only for as long as tax, accounting and dispute-resolution rules require. Delete your account and the rest goes.

8. Your rights

9. Children

RydStation is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18.

10. Changes

If this notice changes materially, we will tell you in the app rather than quietly updating the page.
